FLEX is the largest Packaging company in India, with manufacturing facilities in India and Dubai, and Sales offices in USA, Europe and Dubai with the global presence in 94 countries. Flex’s position at the forefront of the market has evolved through a combination of new developments in the packaging industry with their extensive knowledge of polymer technology. This has enabled the company to harness the technology’s full potential, providing excellent results for its customers, while offering total flexible packaging solutions.
FLEX MIDDLE EAST FZE, a 100% subsidiary of Flex Group, and their first overseas manufacturing facility, was born in 2004. The first phase was commissioned in March 2005 with the manufacturing of 20000 tons per annum of high-quality Polyester films and metallized polyester films in Jebel Ali Free Zone, UAE. This is the only company manufacturing high quality Polyester films in whole of Gulf Region.
The second phase has been commissioned in September 2007 with a state-of-the-art 8.7 meter wide Polyester film line, which is the largest line in the world. With this, the total capacity has gone up to 54000 tons per annum, in addition to 60,000 tons of Polyester film being manufactured in India on 3 state-of-the-art lines. Further expansions are on the anvil in UAE.
Motivated by the successful establishment of the Dubai facility and the ever increasing demand for their products, Flex is now setting up a world-class capacity in Mexico for the manufacture of a variety of Oriented plastic films used in flexible packaging. For this purpose, FLEX AMERICAS S.A. de C.V. has been formed. The manufacturing will be in Altamira, State of Tamaulipas, Mexico, to cater to the customers located in South, Central and North Americas. |
